Job Description

This position is responsible for managing the reporting of all Retail brands as well as analyzing key performance trends, distribution, competition, and account planning to build the platform for the company’s strategic planning process.


  • Oversee the development, analysis, and reporting of retail performance of all Giorgio Armani and Armani Exchange Retail brands
  • Fiscal sales and sell-through
  • Gross margin and profitability tracking
  • Best and slowest sellers and action plans
  • Facilitate pre-market planning
  • Create and review top-down budgets by brand prior to wholesale market campaign
  • Coordinate and analyze all outlet pricing to ensure/maintain profitability
  • Formulate Buy plans by account by category/door
  • Perform statistical analysis using historical data and current trends to recommend strategies to achieve goals and objectives
  • Analyze sales campaign bookings by category and customer and identify opportunities and areas for improvement
  • Partners with account executives, brand managers, and the executive team to maximize opportunities and manage risks
  • Develop and manage historical performance database
  • Research competitive comparisons and benchmarks and to gain market-share
  • Stimulates proactive and forward-thinking analysis, while coaching and developing the department team’s competencies


  • 5 or more years of prior analytical experience and retail math
  • Expert in MS Excel and computer proficiency (MS Word and MS PowerPoint)
  • Results driven; strategic, conceptual and innovative thinker
  • Excellent organizational and multi-talking skills adhering to deadlines and ensuring accuracy
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Computer proficiency (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • College degree preferred
